Dear Camp Endres Families,

 Our entire world is being greatly impacted by the challenges we are facing with the coronavirus pandemic. We understand you may have lots of questions about camp and probably the biggest question is, will we have camp this summer? 

The answer to that question is yes. Although we will be converting our in-person summer camp programs to a virtual camp for our campers. This will allow us to keep our campers, camper families, counselors, medical staff and other volunteers as safe as possible during this time. 

We are a solution-driven organization and just because Camp Endres might look a little different this year, our values and dedication to serving our community remain the same.

What will Camp Endres 2020 look like:

Camp Endres 2020 will cost $50 (scholarships are still available). Once registered, each camper will receive “Camp-In-A-Box”. This will contain everything your camper needs for their virtual camp session. Items will include: a Camp Endres 2020 t-shirt, a Camp Endres Nalgene water bottle, stickers, daily arts and crafts, diabetes education materials and other fun things needed for activities throughout the week. 

Sessions will not be all “screen time,” but will be a creative blend of live, posted and interactive outdoor activities that your camper can do with very little assistance. 

The only supplies needed will be a smartphone, tablet or computer device. If you do not have access to any of these items, please contact us and we will assist with getting the proper materials.

Each camp session will look a little different depending on the age of your camper. Please refer to dsok.net/programs for more information regarding specific camp sessions. Once your “Camp-In-A-Box” is shipped, you will be sent a verification email. The box will also contain your daily camp schedule for your specific session.

Registration and Camp Dates:

If your camper has already registered for Camp Endres Day Camp, Senior Camp or Junior Camp they are automatically registered for Camp Endres 2020. If you have paid more than $50 or your camper does not wish to participate, you can either donate the current balance or we can issue you a refund. Please note that minor date and age changes have been made to each camp session to better serve your camper.
